Abstract | ||||
Targeted research to identify the level of benefit respondents of the training program for the manufacture of handmade carpets, and determine the relationship between the independent variables studied and the level of this benefit, conducted this research New Valley Governorate, has been selected the village of the El Kaser from the center of Dakhla where he was the implementation of a training program for the manufacture of carpets in the village, and that in the first week of October 2011, and follow the implementation of this program take a theoretical lectures and practical training, has been collecting research data through personal interview for 35 sample, through the questionnaire are met data after exposure to the training program, has been the use of certain methods of statistical metadata, which was in percentages, and the degree to medium and frequency distribution tables to display and describe the data, by using the computer program PSSS, was also used Pearson's correlation coefficient to test hypotheses and determine the statistical significance or not significant relationship between the dependent variable and independent variables studied. The results show that 11.4% of respondents fall into the category of low utilization of theoretical lectures the training program for the manufacture of handmade carpets, and 31.4% of them fall into the category of average utilization, while 57.2% of them fall into the category of high benefit. The results indicate that 20% of the respondents fall into the category of low utilization of the training program applied for the manufacture of handmade carpets, and 37.1% of them fall into the category of average utilization, while 42.9% of respondents in the category of high benefit. The results show that contained 25.7% of respondents fall into the category of low utilization of the marketing methods of handmade carpets of the training program, and that 40% of them fall into the category of average utilization, while 34.3% of respondents fall into the category of high benefit. The results showed that nearly two thirds of the respondents 42.9% fall in the category of those with low utilization of the total score to take advantage of the training program for the manufacture of handmade carpets, and the percentage of 20.0% of them fall into the category of those with average utilization, and 37.1% of them fall into the category of benefit high. The results indicated that the total degree of the level of benefit respondents of the training program for the manufacture of handmade carpets were significant at the level of 0.01 each of the age, degree of education surveyed, and the degree of exposure to sources of information on the manufacture of carpets, and the degree of the trend towards modernization, while the relationship was significant at the level of 0.05 with each of the variables influenced by the degree of reference sources from the manufacture of carpets, and the degree of opinion leadership, while there were not significant relationship with the variable size of agricultural holdings, and the degree of openness geographical location. It is recommended that research should be intensified and the implementation of those programs and activities for the advancement of the process of manufacture of handmade carpets and marketing and give the rural experience in order to increase their skills in the industry, and this requires the provision of facilities and equipment necessary for the implementation of those activities and programs, and to increase the expertise of staff training to see what's new and innovative in the manufacture of carpets manual and to connect these skills to the trainees of rural women and persuade them to apply through the provision of persuasive techniques that help to apply all that is a novelty in the production of handmade carpets, to work on increasing productivity to improve the quality of marketing possibilities. | ||||
