Abstract | ||||
We seek in this research to identify the phenomenon of fallacy, which has always concerned both ancient and contemporary philosophical thought, although in the past confined to logic, it is now taking various types of speech as a field for expansion and development. In order to reveal the nature of the practice of fallacy in speech, we have chosen one of the religious speeches, namely the pamphlet “Stretching out hands to pledge allegiance to Al-Baghdadi” of Abu Hammam Bakr Al Athri, which calls for acceptance of the Islamic state regime in Iraq and Syria and to pledge allegiance to Al-Baghdadi. It was one of the speeches that led to a shift in religious concepts, and adopted, to achieve its aims, the strategy of fallacy to circumvent at one time, and to impose its purposes at another time. We have observed the images of fallacy and the types that are invoked, and the sequence adopted by Abu Hammam Bakr Al Athri in his deceitful course, so that this demonstration makes us come to the conclusion that resort to force, violence and domination are the predominant aspects of this speech | ||||
