Abstract | ||||
Trafficking in human beings is a widespread problem in almost all countries of the world, and still continues to grow. Unfortunately, there is no consistent, reliable and comparable data to accurately quantify this crime. This phenomenon has many manifestations, such as forced labor, sex trafficking and others. It is enforced by a group of outlaws who use a variety of means, such as physical force and cheating, to control their victims. Therefore, this study aims to explain this phenomenon, its risks and implications, and the position of the new anti-trafficking law in Yemen, as well as how to confront them in Islamic law and regional and international legislation. The most important result of this research is that the Yemeni law on combating the crime of trafficking in human beings and the formation of the National Technical Committee against Trafficking in Human Beings is an important step in the prevention of this crime and the protection of the victims of this crime. The most important recommendations were the need to issue the executive regulations of the Yemeni anti-trafficking law and the speed of preparing the strategy to combat human trafficking. | ||||
