Abstract | ||||
This study aims to treat the repetitive formation in the popular Algerian poetry and show its role in shaping the formal and semantic structure of the popular poem, and revealing the psychological and emotional connotations of the poet. Repetition is a means of shaping internal music because of its role in lighting and deepening the experience, the repetition of certain word and the insistence on them in the composition indicate signs that other phenomena cannot be delivered without this repetition. Repetition is one of the original phenomena in the Algerian popular with its aesthetic and artistic dimension, semantic enrichment, and rhythm of music, it did not come by chance, but it is an expression of visions and thoughts borne by the poet's psyche and exploded, embodied in repetition. Algerian folk poets have mastered the use of repetition in their poetic experiments. Through this study, we will try to uncover the most important poetic forms of repetition in Algerian poetry and the psychological connotations that underlie this phenomenon. | ||||
