Abstract | ||||
This experimentalwas carried out during the twowinter seasonsof 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 in a private unheatedplastichouses,, Kom Haleen, MeniaEl Qamh District, Sharkia Governorate, Egypt,to study the effect of differentsources ofnitrogen fertilizer as soil applicationand some growth stimulantsas foliar application on growth and yield ofsweet pepper (cv.Lirica RZ)grown in claysoilusingdrip irrigationsystem.Results showed that,the interaction between fertilizationsweet pepper plants withvermicompost at 1.225 kg/m2(as organicnitrogen 100%)and foliar spray withcompost teaat 10 ml/l increased dryweight of leaves, stemsand shoots/plant at 80 and 100 days after transplantingin both seasons, number of fruits/ plantandtotal yield/plant followed by the interaction between vermicompostand spraying withvermicomposttea at 7.5 ml/l.Generally,theinteractionbetween fertilizationofplantswith vermicompost +FYM at 0.613+2.100 kg /m2as organicnitrogen (50% +50 % of each) and sprayingwithcompost teaat 10 ml/l increased N,P and K in leaves andstems and averagefruit weight | ||||
