Abstract | ||||
The research is aimed at studying the narrative techniques in the two Novels, using the structural approach, in an attempt to compare the two texts by examining the literary features of each of them, and the method used by the two Writers to convey the meaning through the structure itself. This study is divided into four main themes: first, the technique of repetition; second, the traditional sequential narrative technique used by Yu Hua versus the photomontage technique used by Aslan; third, the narrator's voice and the voices of the characters; and finally, the artistic connotations of time, place and characters. | ||||
