Abstract | ||||
This study aimed to measure the effectiveness of using audio book applications on smart phones in teaching the human rights course to students of the first year of the visually impaired at the Faculty of Arts at Tanta University, by relying on the Sound Book App < br>The study used the quasi-experimental approach based on the pre- and post-test, and one of the most important findings of the study is the presence of a statistically significant difference at the level (α ≤ 0.01) between the mean scores of the experimental group students and the average scores of the control group in the post application of the cognitive aspect test in favor of the average Rank the scores of the experimental group, and there is a statistically significant difference at the level (α ≤ 0.05) between the mean ranks of the experimental group scores in the pre and post applications in the cognitive aspect test in favor of the average ranks of the post-measurement scores, meaning that the application of the audiobook had a positive impact on the development of the cognitive aspect of the course Human rights of the study sample students, and the study recommended the need to plan to make available courses for the visually impaired in the form of audio book applications on smart phones, and for universities to hire specialists to design educational audio book applications that meet the needs of the visually impaired so that they can deal with them easily. | ||||
