Abstract | ||||
This research mainly aimed to identify the knowledge needs of young farmers from agricultural information presented on social media, and also aimed to identify the level of their exposure to sources of information on these means, and also to identify the extent of the confidence of young farmers in the possibility of implementing this information, as well as to identify its sufficiency To satisfy their knowledge needs, and finally, this research aimed to identify the extent to which young farmers implement agricultural information presented on social media. The sample size was determined by the snowball method, which is a deliberate sample of 200 young farmers, of whom 114 are respondents with cognitive needs, among them 86 respondents believe that the information is sufficient to meet those needs, 50 respondents have implemented that information, and accordingly the respondents were distributed according to the percentages of their presence In the villages of the research, 37 respondents in the village of Bahij, 53 respondents in the village of Deir al-Jandala West, and 24 respondents in the village of Saraqna, representing a sample of young farmers with knowledge needs of agricultural information presented on social media, and their percentage is 5.69% of the total holders of 2003 holders , based on the records of 2 services in the agricultural units for the year 2019 in those villages.
