Abstract | ||||
The study alms at using sampling tecnnique for estimating needs of cattle in traditional farm from Barseem In each upper Egypt governorate. measuring degree of accuracy and comparing these estimates by published data. The research designed an illustrative tables to indicate the proper sample size Including number of districts, villages, nolde~ In different level of accuracy Cluster sample was choused with 322 holders, 46 villages, 23 districts in 8 governorates of upper Egypt. The outputs showed that : the average needs of animal unit from barseern were 43.0, 33.7. 18.5,27.6,23.32.6,22.3,20.1 KeraUCut for each animal units In Giza. Beni-Suif, Fayoum, Menia. Assuit, Sohag, Qena and Aswan govemorates. with standard errors 9.34 %. 3.35%. 2.54%. 7.6%, 1.5%.6.62%.6.12% respectively. There were remarbble differences between the estimated sample cata and the published data with positive differences except farm governorate.
