Abstract | ||||
The main objective of this research was to test reliability and validity of Maslach Scale related to measuring job burnout after translation into Arabic and modification to adequate nature of the Agi icultural Extension Organization. The scale was consist of three components: experienced emotional exhaustion; lacked of human feeling and lacked of personal accomplishment.The scale in its final shape consist of 22 statements. Each statement ranked with three degree (3, 2, 1). To test validity and reliability of the scale, data were collected from random sample amounted to 150 extension supervisors in Upper Egypt, which represented 34.56% of total extension supervisors (434) in Asuit, Sohag, Quana and Aswan governorates addition AI-Aksor city. The findings revealed that high degree of validity and reliability, whereas the reliability coefficient (Alpha) showed 0.857, and intrinsic validity coefficient showed 0.926 . . In addition, test findings showed that the internal consistency was accomplished, and all of statements were correlated significantly with total scale degree. According to previous results, this study recommends to using the scale to measure job burnout among supervisors in Agriculture Extension Organization in Upper Egypt. | ||||
