Abstract | ||||
Livestock development in Egypt faces a set of current and future challenges that limit the desired development events in this vital sector of agriculture, and the most important challenges can be summarized as follows: - Lack of available fodder resources needed to cover the nutritional needs of farm animals - Decreased productive qualities of local farm animals. - Low productivity of local farm animal. - Improving the health and reproductive health of farm animals and limiting the spread of epidemic and imported diseases. - Climate changes and the limited water resources available. | ||||
