Abstract | ||||
The "principle of Time order" has a strong explanatory power, and it has a certain universality for a language like Chinese that pays more attention to word and sentence order. This theory analyzes and contrasts the sentence order of Chinese and Arabic from the four major aspects of the time expressing sentence, the dual-verb sentence, the compound sentence, and the position of the adverbial. The Study aims: To study the influence of time order on the sentence order of Chinese language; to explore whether time order principle has the same influence on the sentence order of Arabic language; to compare the similarities and differences in sentence order between Chinese and Arabic; to better understand the difference between Chinese and Arabic, and how to solve the problem of different sentence order when translating between Chinese and Arabic. | ||||
