The main objective of the research is to explore and identify the challenges facing the satisfaction of the needs of the family in the Ras Sidr Region in light of the contemporary social and economic pressures. The study was conducted on a simple random sample of (340) respondents from the heads of the family in the villages of Abu Suwayra and Ras Masala in the Ras Sidr Region. The study relied on the use of the sample social survey method through the personal interview questionnaire, and some statistical methods, including percentages and frequencies, in addition to frequency tables and chi-square test, which fit the nature of the data. The most important results were as follows: The majority of families in the study area suffer from challenges facing the satisfaction of their family needs, and food challenges that face the satisfaction of needs came in the first place in the order of challenges with a percentage of (78.19%), followed by health challenges at the rate of (74.95%). The study recommended the provision of medical convoys and the necessary medicines, the provision of studying sections for students with low cost, the provision of mobile markets for food commodities, the provision of exhibitions and mobile markets for clothing, and the provision of reduced social housing. | ||||
