Abstract | ||||
Evaluation of some citrus rootstocks against the causal fungus of citrus root rot, i.e., Phytophthora parasitica revealed that Sour orange was the most susceptible rootstock to infection with the tested fungus, while Volkamer lemon (Citrus volkameriana) was less susceptible to Phytophthora root rot, whereas Rangpour lemon and Troyer citrange were intermediate. Metalaxyl (Ridomil), Fosetyl-Al (Aliette), Agri-Fos 400 (Phosphorous Acid) and Chito care (Chitosan) gave good effect against Phytophthora root rot. The greatest reduction in incidence and severity was obtained when the combined treatment of fungicides i.e., pre-planting +soil drench was applied. | ||||
