Abstract | ||||
Introduction: One of the main focus areas in diagnostic medicine is molecular imaging. Nanoparticles allow us to efficiently image different components of a high-contrast molecule. In this study, various factors that should be considered when synthesizing contrast nanoparticles are discussed and some of the most important examples are highlighted. Materials and Methods: This research is theoretical and in terms of content analysis method (Content Analysis) by searching for the keywords of nanotechnology, molecular imaging, drug delivery methods, gene therapy and contrast nanoparticles in google, pubmed, science done direct, scholar and Scopus. After the search, 10 articles were selected from the obtained articles and based on them, this article was written. Results: Most of the nanoparticles in the report have been used to produce new contrast agents, especially for molecular imaging and detection of cellular processes. The advantages of using these nanoparticles are the ability to produce high contrast, the ease of integrating multiple properties, the long circulation time in the blood, and the ability to carry high-volume materials (such as drugs). The basics and methods of nanoparticle production have grown and expanded over the years, so more complex examples of nanoscale contrast agents such as paramagnetic particles, macrophages with quantum dots, quantum dots, machines that can make matter It has been reported to reach the atomic and molecular parts. MRI micro emulsions have also been used to examine blood vessels and deliver medication. Discussion and Conclusion: The use of contrast nanoparticles provides more details about the processes of a disease and its effects. The fabrication of these materials has improved dramatically over the past decade by creating a variety of functions in them. However, there are many areas for progress in biocompatibility, efficacy, specificity and diagnosis of further diseases. In general, contrast nanoparticles can be synthesized for a specific function, with specific properties to perform a specific program. | ||||
