Abstract | ||||
The study aimed at identifying the types levels and types of social risks are facing rural women, the most common in the study area, identifying the relationship between the degree of social risks facing rural women and some of their personal, social and economic characteristics, identifying the causes and their suggestions to reduce those risks, This research was implemented in three villages from Burg Al Arab district, of Alexandria Governorate; the systematic random sample was involved (272) rural women, Data were collected using a questionnaire by personal interview during September 2021, Frequencies, percentages, means, weighted Mean , standard deviation, Alpha coefficient, Pearson correlation, T test, were used to analyze the data. Results showed 70,6 % of respondents are at an average level category of facing total social risks, nearly three-fifths of them and more face the risks of female genital mutilation, underage marriage, consanguineous marriage, and weak empowerment of rural women at an average level category, | ||||
