Abstract | ||||
The research deals with the Italian presence in Egypt, and the role and contributions of the Italians in urban construction and modernization, whether in planning or economic and social activity during the era of the Alawite dynasty, in addition to shedding light on one of the greatest foreign architects who came to Egypt, the architect "Antonio Lashack " who left us a heritage A unique architecture during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, specifically in Alexandria and Cairo; Where he designed a wide range of architectural facilities whose functional purposes vary between residential facilities (such as palaces, villas, and residential buildings) and commercial facilities that enjoy a unique heritage and aesthetic value. The research is also of great importance in identifying the architectural styles built by Lashack, which varied between the neo-Renaissance style, the Baroque style, the Islamic style and other styles that indicate his ability to use different architectural elements and the decorative elements that decorated the facades of architectural facilities. | ||||
