Abstract | ||||
The main objective of this study was to determine the factors affecting level of farmers adoption of faba bean crop to integrated pest management methods at El-Hamoul district, in Kafr El-Sheikh governorate, through a random sample amounted 269 respondents, Data were collected by personal interview using a questionnaire. Arithmetic mean, standard deviation, person simple & multiple were used to analyze data statistically, in addition to frequencies and percentage for data presentation, the main results were shown that about 59%, approximately 73%, about 64%, approximately 60%, approximately 90%, approximately 96%, of the research sample were enrolled in the low our medium adoption levels of the extension recommendations for the methods integrated pest management of the faba bean, agricultural control ,mechanical control ,chemical control , biological control, regulatory control of paddy bean pests, the results indicate The combined independent variables are associated with the degree of adoption levels of the extension recommendations for the methods integrated pest management of the faba bean a multivariate correlation coefficient of 0.577, a value determined at the probability level of 0.01 based on the value of p (6.199),the results also indicate that the independent variables combined are interpreted 33.3% of the variance in the farmers adoption faba bean crop of methods integrated pest management based on the value of R2. | ||||
