Abstract | ||||
As the world's twenty-first century entered into a great deal of cognitive and scientific development, the challenges faced by educational and educational institutions increased, forcing these institutions to adopt the means and strategies that are compatible with the spirit of the times and their developments. The development of the educational process has become one of the most important challenges faced by contemporary societies With the aim of establishing a scientifically and technologically. Thus, the research sheds light on the future of e-learning in Egypt and its role in the development of university education, and the possibility of overcoming the deficiencies in the possibilities of traditional education, and achieving positive returns that affect the state and society. We also present some of the backgrounds of the distance education process. We present a historical profile that includes the stages of its development and the growth of the idea of e-university, followed by the presentation of the different images of e-universities and the types of distance learning institutions and the techniques used and developed in them. The research also tackles the various aspects of the e-University and the reasons for its establishment, the need to establish it in the light of the services it can provide, and identify the pros and cons. In addition to the study of e-universities, we present experiences and models from the Arab world followed by a presentation of experiences from some of the other countries of the world, with exposure to local experiences in this field and to identify the points of success and failure that have passed on the ground. | ||||
