Abstract | ||||
Hospitality is one of the major elements on which the tourism industry around the world depend on it. Hospitality gives a very important consideration to the guest and the hotel. Every guest expects and deserves hospitable treatment. Providing hospitality to meet guests' needs, involves not only a positive attitude but a selection of services that make the guests stay enjoyable. In addition, hospitality is the major factor in every vacation and business trip, and thus important to individual customers and businesses. The importance of the inspection in the hotel industry is to provide standards and evaluate if the company meets those standards. Most hotel groups are facing the same opportunities and challenges in the expending of global market place. Through regular visits and inspections, hotel chains can improve not only the image of their brand but the image of the countries they operate from. If a guest has a bad time and is let down during his stay at a hotel, he will associate any negative feelings with the entire chain. In order to achieve a successful inspection, this department would need to select qualified inspector with some requirements such as: work & managerial experience in hotels. Also, an inspector must be objective, neutral. He also must have some solving problem skills, sound technical knowledge, must be aware of the most hotel industry standards and regulations. He must understand which area to focus more and where not to. This study aims to improving the process of inspection of hotels, as well as improving the image of the inspector who performs the inspection, which is reflected better on the hotel and the quality of services provided to the tourist. | ||||
