Abstract | ||||
This field study was carried out, during fall seasons of 2002 and 2003, to uate the effect of chemical fertilizer (Sangral) and biofertilizer (Nitrobien) in erent ratio (0/0, 100/0, 7S/2S, SO/SO, 2SnS and 01100% of Sangral and Nitrobien, ectively) on the growth, the yield and the chemical composition of potatoes. -~ults showed that nitrogen application increased vegetative growth and yield of tubers. The addition of 2S% of Nitrobien to 7S% of the chemical fertilizer resulted e highest values of growth parameters and yield as compared with all other ::a1ments. Chlorophyll, N, P and K in leaves and total carbohydrate concentration in rs were also increased by the addition of 2S% of Nitrobien to the chemical cer. This study indicated that the application of 25% of Nitrobien with 7S% of ral in mixed form is the best treatment for potato growth and production in arid semi-arid regions. | ||||
