Abstract | ||||
Tow field experiments were conducted in alkaline saline soil of newly reclaimed lands at Abou-Mady region "North of Della" during the two successive seasons of 2001/2002 & 2002/2003. This work aimed to study the effect of gibberellic acid "GA3" at 30 ppm combined with paclobutrazol "PP333"at 150 ppm to modify growth and yield parameters as well as some physiological effects of "PP333"at heading and harvesting stages of wheat plants .The results showed that application of "GA3" combined with "PP333"increased most significantly all the studied growth and yield parameters as well as the contents of photosynthetic pigments, total carbohydrates and total soluble sugars. The treatments also improved the pictures of protein electrophoresis of wheat plants which grown in new reclaimed area. | ||||
