Abstract | ||||
The tested plant [Euphorbia schimperiana] was collected during the four different seasons. The molluscicidal activity of the methanol extract of dry stems of Euphorbia schimperiana were recorded against the snail Biomphalaria pfeifferi [the snail vector of intestinal schistosomiasis]. The high molluscicidal potency was reported on winter with LC50 of 7.6 ppm. The seasonality has a remarkable effect on the molluscicidal activity of the part tested plant. | ||||
