Abstract | ||||
No studies on the molluscicidal activity of neem [Azadirachta indica] in Saudi Arabia were done. The toxic effect of aqueous extracts of some parts of this plant was examined against the snail vector of intestinal schistosomiasis Biomphalaria pfeifferi. The dry and fresh leaves extracts gave encouraging results, the LC50 values were 30 ppm and 100 ppm respectively. | ||||
