Abstract | ||||
ABSTRACT This paper provides the MDLM (Moon Descent Landing Module) Guidance, Navigation and Control system design description as result of the analysis and trade-off performed in the frame of the “Italian Vision for Moon Exploration” studies of the Italian Space Agency (ASI). The preliminary design of the GNC system for the lunar lander was performed following the analysis of mission and the design requisites, the definition of the RCS architecture, the simulation of system performances, and, finally, the hardware and the equipments. | ||||
