Abstract | ||||
The presented paper introduces main results obtained during the course of static tests carried out for reaching a proper design of testing hybrid motor using several compositions of hydroxy terminated polybutadiene (HTPB) fuel binder and some additives with gaseous oxygen as an oxidizer. The results of preliminary experiments for testing motor design are presented. Investigation on the methods of enhancing the regression rate for the HTPB fuel used in HTPB/GOX testing hybrid motor is presented. The effect of the addition of Ammonium Perchlorate (AP) and aluminum (Al) to the fuel binder was also taken into consideration. | ||||
