Abstract | ||||
In this article, an economically optimal energy mix is designed for China. A mathematical model is build consisting of a linear objective function and a linear set of constraints. The constraints are set to reflect philosophy of complete utilization of the available production capabilities in China. The model is solved using the simplex method of two stages and thus producing the sought for mix. A comparison is made between the designed mix and the already used mix in China. The comparison clarifies the superiority of the designed mix economically. Also, a comparison of the cost of a million British thermal unit between Iran, Czech, and the designed mix of China shows the superiority of the designed mix. | ||||
