Abstract | ||||
Yeast extract (100 and 200 mill) and GA" (20 and 40 ppm) were fol'ar sprayed on Thompson Seedless and Roumi Red grape cultiva-s The treatments were done before lIowering (2nOweek of April) and at full bloom (1" week of May). Fruit set (%) and number or c1usterslvine of both cultivars were increased significantly. In addiUon. yield was increased as a result of cluster weight, length and berries weig t. Number of berries/cluster also improved significantly by yeast extract + GA" and yeast extrac; treatment alone for "Thompson Seedless" and "Roumi Red'. respectively. I All treatments increased jdce ~ '''~ntage of "Thompson Seedless' bernes, however, juice content of 'Roum; Red'. :;(.;:~cle solids contenl (SSe), Sse/acid ratio and total sugars were increased while acidily decreased significantly for both cultivafs. The combination of yeast extract "'; 1 00 mill and GA" at 40 ppm IS recommended or improving yield and fruit quality of Thompson Seedless and Roumi Red grape cullivars. | ||||
