Abstract | ||||
Staph.aureus which causes food poisoning and suppurative lesions, mastitis is one of the most serious bacteria causing community acquired infection. A total of 191 cases had collected as follow 52 cases from raw , 51 cases from raw , 45 cases from poultry, 43 cases from lesion (abscess & wounds, sputum of cases) for isolation of S.aureus, detection of its sensitivity to various drugs. One case of raw had for S.aureus ,two cases of raw one of them had from mastitis case had for S.aureus, sputum case from dog with respiratory manifestation had for S.aureus, abscess case from ear of cat had for S.aureus, with total of five S.aureus isolates (9.5%). All this isolates had to slide coagulase test. According to resistance patterns, S.aureus isolates had extremely resistant to tetracyclin, ciprofloxin, erythromycin, cefoxitin, norfloxacin, P.G, oxacillin, but very sensitive to S.trimethoprim, rifampicin, chloramphenicol, moxifloxacin, gentamicin, ofloxacin, vancomycin, clindamycin. The isolated multidrug resistant S.aureus should be followed up to control the disease in industry, veterinary practice. | ||||
