Annual buffalo records during a period of 1989-1994 of Mehallet Moussa, Animal Production Experimental farm, Ministry of Agriculture, were used in this study. Referring to some productive and reproductive characteristics affecting the general economical status in the research farm, results obtained indicated that there was a lower productive and reproductive performance in Egyptian buffalo research farm, such as longer age to first calving in heifers, longer calving interval and lower milk yield which led to the obtained loss. | ||||
