The world community has witnessed a great interest in the phenomenon of blocks in international and regional economic relations. This led to the formation of the network of economic globalization and the increase of competition in local and international markets. In spite of the contribution of the developing countries in general, and the Group of 15 in particular, in their economic blocks, the volume of inter-trade among such countries is still limited. The research objective is to analyze the general economic performance of the Group of 15, with particular reference to inter-trade between Egypt and the Group. It also investigates the limitations and obstacles facing export development and limiting expansion of inter-trade among the Group countries. The problem of the research relates to reasons of limited contribution of the Group exports to international trade, and limitations of its inter-trade in spite of availability of natural and human resources.
