Abstract | ||||
This research mainly aimed to identify Perception degree of the Egyptian television workers to importance of the providing quality standards in rural agricultural television programs. Due to nature of the research topic, six of the Egyptian state TV channels were randomly selected using the basket method were: (Cairo, Canal, Alexandria, Delta, Elsaidy, and Taiba channels). A simple random sample of 17% (1450) was taken from programatics, which consisted of 246 respondents, distributed as (102 preparers, 111 directors, and 33 presenters) respondents, respectively. E-questionnaire was prepared by Google Form, and collected by Whatsapp or e-mail from only 240 respondents. Frequencies, mean, standard deviation, weighted mean and "F" test were used to analyze and present the data. The most important results were concentrated in: that 2.1% of the respondents had a low total perception degree of the importance of quality specifications for agricultural television programs, while 7.1% of them had a medium level of perception, and 90.8% of them had a high degree of perception. Also, about 96.3%, 97.5%, 96.3%, 97.9%, and 95.8% of them had a high degree of perception of the importance of the specifications to each of the dimensions (material and technical capabilities, reliability, response, safety, and empathy), respectively. It was found that the preparers outperformed both the directors and presenters in the degree of their total perception of the importance of having quality specifications in agricultural television programs. | ||||
