Abstract | ||||
This research aimed at the studying of total production of some agricultural crops in Oakahlia governorate. The investigated crops are Wheat, Beans, Winter Onion, Cotton, Summer Rice, Summer Maize, Summer Potatoes and Summer Tomatoes. The present study is concemed also with studying different factors affecting the cultivated area such as real Agricultural prices real production costs, and Analysis of variance (ANOVA) for comparing Regression coefficients and economic factors affecting the investigated crops. Results of this research are indicating that there are statistically significant differences between the development of both total production and production costs for all previous crops during the period (1987 -2000). In addition to the increasing of production, there are exogenous variables that affect on increasing production costs such as general level of prices of inputs and labour wages. Changes of Agricultural prices are not consistent with changes in production costs for Rice, Potatoes and Tomatoes in Summer Season . | ||||
