Abstract | ||||
The aim of the research is to verify the effectiveness of a proposed counseling program to address electronic media rumors among university youth in the State of Kuwait, the research relied on the experimental method, and used tools prepared by the researchers, namely: the electronic media rumors scale, which included (6) dimensions, (the social dimension, the psychological dimension, the cognitive dimension, the behavioral dimension, the moral dimension, and the cultural dimension), a proposed program to confront electronic media rumors, and a form for evaluating the sessions of the proposed counseling program. The research was applied to a sample of university youth in the State of Kuwait, consisting of (120) items Males and females, ages (20-22 years), the sample was distributed equally into two groups (experimental group and control group) equally (60) females for the experimental group, (60) females for the control group, the results of the research reached to prove the validity of the hypotheses in the effectiveness of a proposed counseling program to address electronic media rumors among university youth in the State of Kuwait. | ||||
