| Objective:7RFRPSDUHWKHHI¿FDF\RIPHWIRUPLQPRQWKHUDS\LQLPSURYHPHQWRIWKH clinical and biochemical parameters, ovulation and pregnancy rates in obese and non obese patients with polycystic ovary syndrome. Materials & Methods : A prospective comparative study in Minia University infertility clinic comprised of 100 infertile women who were diagnosed as clomiphene citrate resistant polycystic ovary syndrome at the period startingIURP1RYHPEHU WR$XJXVW7KHSDWLHQWVZHUHGLYLGHGLQWRJURXSV *URXS 2 LQFOXGHGSDWLHQWVZLWK %0,NJPDQG*URXS 1 LQFOXGHGSDWLHQWVZLWK%0,NJP%RWKJURXSV received metformin 850 mg tablet twice daily for 12 weeks.
