I will start my talk with a historical overview of home economics, specifically in the United States of America, and its historical role in the development of the family and society: At the beginning of the eighties, home economics as a science took over the task of supporting American women to provide a good livelihood for her family, from nursing for family members, coordinating a home, providing healthy meals for family members, directing family income, and providing appropriate clothing, through limited private schools. | ||||
