Abstract | ||||
The study aimed to identify the effect of intermittent training using the "Tabata" method on the physiological, physical performance, and skill level of female handball players. The researcher used the experimental method by using one experimental group with the pre and post-measurement on a sample of (22) handball players. The training implementation duration took (6 weeks); (3 training units) per week with a total of (18 training units). The researcher used the maximum oxygen consumption measurement, the lung's vital capacity to identify the physiological efficiency, muscular ability test, accuracy, compatibility, agility, and speed to identify the physical performance level, and dribbling, passing, and shooting test in handball to identify the skill performance level of the Handball players’ pre and post exercises application. The most important results were that (Tabata) exercises led to an increase in the physiological level, and physical and skill performance level of the handball players in the research sample. | ||||
