Abstract | ||||
The art of clothing accessories is considering one of the most important arts that occupied an important position in the fields of design, which jewelry industry is one of them. Jewelry industry influenced by the arts of decoration, which made it remarkable by the high cost, the accuracy of its craft, and the long consumption life of precious stones and metals. Which gave the jewelry values that other accessories missed out. Art Deco is one of the arts, which has greatly affected in the jewelry industry. Art Deco characterized by the innovation and the simplicity and the colors with the combination of different metal ores, precious stones and enamel, creating distinctive jewelry, which contributed in enhancing the requirements of the contemporary fashion accessories industry. After studying the market, the researcher found a rise in the prices of jewelry that are used separately in decorating the clothes beside its incompatibility for wearing with more than one occasion, and the frequent use of wearing the same accessory on the same clothes invites boredom. Above that, the inability of some women to matching separate pieces of jewelry Aesthetically, which prompted the researcher to think of combining them into an integrated changeable product and worn in several ways by designing jewelry that can be disassembled and re-installed in several forms to enrich the appearance of the accessories. The research aims to enrich the clothes aesthetically with accessories that made with the precious stones by designing a changeable jewelry that wearable in several ways to suit the multiple use of the contemporary women, with the ability to reduce the amount of single-use jewelry and make multi-use accessories to save the storage space. The research concerning about studying the use of materials and applying of the new technologies for the jewelry industry as one of the clothing accessories items by dismantling and reassembling it according to the appearance of the dress and the occasion, which enhances the reduction of the cost of purchasing separate jewelry. The researcher followed the descriptive experimental approach to clarify the types of materials and the used techniques in the manufacture of jewelry, while making suggested designs for multi-use jewelry. The Researcher designed a collection of proposed accessories that showing the shape of the jewelry and its multi-use for the wearing style. She took the opinions of the specialists in the field of clothing by conducting a questionnaire that included three main axes: The first axis: the design and aesthetic form of the jewelry. The second axis: the functional performance of the accessories and the applying of the pieces of the jewelry . The third axis: the economic returns of the multi-use accessories. The data was processed and analyzed statistically to study the significant of the difference in the values between the study axes, and the results were: 1.There are statistically significant differences between the evaluation of the proposed designs for the multi-use jewelry in achieving the design and the aesthetic form of jewelry according to the opinions of specialists. 2.There are statistically significant differences between the evaluation of the proposed designs for the multi-use jewelry in achieving the functional performance of the clothing accessories and the applying of the pieces according to the opinions of specialists. 3.There are statistically significant differences between the evaluations of the proposed designs for the multi-use jewelry in achieving the economic return for multi-use accessories according to the opinions of specialists. 4. There are statistically significant differences between the evaluations of the proposed designs for the multi-use jewelry that applying in the clothing accessories in achieving the aspects of the evaluation (as a whole) according to the opinions of specialists. 5.There are statistically significant differences between the axes of evaluating the proposed designs for the multi-use jewelry that applying in the clothing accessories according to the opinions of specialists. The research concluded that the proposed designs for multi-use jewelry which applying in the clothing accessories, have achieved a degree of acceptance from the viewpoint of the specialists in achieving: (The design and aesthetic form of jewelry, the functional performance of the clothing accessories and the applying of the pieces, the economic return of the multi-use jewelry, and aspects of the evaluation as a whole). | ||||
