| Abstract | ||||
| The employment of heritage is an important phenomenon in modern Persian poetry. Since ancient times, Persian poets have been employing heritage and making it an important stream that develops their talent and enriches their poetic creativity. This study, “Using Heritage in the Poems of Ali Akbar Dehkhoda,” came as a continuation of these efforts in this subject; Where heritage is an essential tributary in the culture and personality of this poet, as he is one of the poets of satirical criticism in modern literature. The aim of the research is to reveal the aspects of heritage in the poet's diwan and how to employ it and link it to reality and its significance in his poetry. The research adopts the analytical method, which depends on the analysis of models and the classification of heritage sources for the poet. The semantic approach was also used to highlight the meanings and connotations acquired by the poet's heritage characters, events and symbols in his poetry. | ||||
