Abstract | ||||
The present work aims at investigating the deterministic effects of whole body gamma irradiation of albino rat, at successive fractionated dose levels followed nicotine injection. The parameters of the study have been combined to serum protein as presented by total proteins,protein fractions and albumin/globulin [A/G] ratio. Investigations have been carried out on the first hours from the last treatment. The results indicated generally significant decreases in the levels of total protein, albumin, alpha 1,alpha 2,beta 1,2 and gamma globulins. On the other hand, the level of Albumin/Globulin [A/G] ratio recorded a significant increase on the first hours from either cumulative dose levels at 7 Gy followed nicotine injection or post 10-successive doses of nicotine administration as compard with control value. | ||||
