Abstract | ||||
This study estimates production and consumption trends of wheat in Egypt from 1996 to 2006 in order to increase the investments towards projects that maintain food security from this strategic crop. The study found that a great gap between the required consumption and production from wheat between 1995 to 2006 this deficit requires about five million tons at least to cover this gap. | ||||
