| Abstract | ||||
| The Kashmiri writer Taranum Riaz is one of the most important Urdu short story writers. Her writings covered various issues of Kashmiri society in particular. The writer was concerned with the child as the nucleus of society, and his goodness ensures the well-being of society and its development, and therefore included her short story collection with two stories in which she depicted the suffering of the Kashmiri child from poverty and exploitation.The research talks about the Urdu short story in Kashmir.It also includes a quick presentation of the themes of the anecdotal collection. and includes talking about the life of Taranum Riaz, her literary production and artistic features.It also deals with the suffering of the Kashmiri child through the stories "Achhi Sorrat Bah Kia" and "Barf Garni Wali Haa". | ||||
