| Abstract | ||||
| استهدفت الدراسة الراهنة قياس تأثير الفقر على الصحة النفسية للشباب في الفئة العمرية (18-35سنة) وذلك من خلال: (1) التعرف على مستوى الاضطرابات النفسية بين الشباب، حسب حالة الفقر والخصال المختلفة للشباب؛ (2) قياس تأثير الفقر على الإصابة بالاضطرابات النفسية لدى الشباب، وذلك من خلال الاعتماد على بيانات المسح القومي للنشء والشباب في مصر لعام )2014(، وقد بلغ حجم عينة الدراسة (8668) شابًّا. ولقياس الاضطرابات النفسية فقد تم تبني أداة استبيان الإقرار الذاتي SRQ-20)) المقترحة من منظمة الصحة العالمية، كما تبنت الدراسة مؤشر الفقر متعدد الأبعاد(MPI) لقياس مستوى الفقر بين الشباب بالعينة. وقد تم تطبيق نموذج الانحدار اللوجستي عشوائي التأثير لتقدير أثر الفقر متعدد الأبعاد على الإصابة بالاضطرابات النفسية لدى الشباب. وقد أظهرت النتائج أن للفقر متعدد الأبعاد تأثيرًا سلبيًّا على إصابة الشباب بالاضطرابات النفسية، حيث ترتفع فُرَص الإصابة بالاضطرابات بين الفقراء بنحو ثمانية أضعاف مقارنة بغير الفقراء، كذلك فإن الإناث أكثر عرضة للإصابة باضطرابات الصحة النفسية. وتعدّ الأمراض المزمنة وعدم التمتع بنظام تأمين صحي والتدخين وتعاطي المخدرات والشعور بعدم الأمان من أهم المتغيرات التي تزيد من فرص الإصابة بالاضطرابات النفسية. وتوصي الدراسة بأهمية تتبع الحالات التي تَبَيَّن إصابتها بالاضطرابات النفسية وإعادة تقييمهم بأدوات أكثر عمقًا لتحديد نوع الاضطراب النفسي بشكل أدق؛ الأمر الذي يساعد في تحديد وسائل العلاج. The current study aimed to measure the impact of multidimensional poverty on the mental health of youth in age group (18-35) through: (1) Identifying the level of mental disorders among youth according to poverty status. (2) Measuring the effect of multidimensional poverty on the rate of mental disorders in youth, which is based on the data of the Survey of Young People in Egypt (SYPE) (2014). The study sample was )8668( individuals. To measure mental health disorders, the World Health Organization proposed mental health scale using the Self-Reporting Questionnaire - 20 (SRQ-20). Moreover, the study also implemented the multidimensional poverty index. The Random Effect Logit Model has been applied to assess the impact of multidimensional poverty on the incidence of mental disorders among the youth. It has been shown that multidimensional poverty has a negative influence on mental health of youth as the chances of disorders among the poor are about 8 times compared to the non-poor. Apart from this, females are more susceptible to mental disorders. Likewise, chronic diseases, absence of health insurance, smoking, and drugs abuse increase the chance of developing disorders. Additionally, insecurity increases the risk of developing disorders compared to those who feel safe. The study highlights the importance of tracking cases that show their affliction with mental disorders and reassessing them with more in-depth and advanced approaches to corroborate the incidence and classify the type of mental disorder. | ||||
