Abstract | ||||
Man began to learn drawing thousands of years ago, before he knew how to read and write on the walls of the caves, and on the slopes of the surrounding mountains, which continued to remain throughout the ages to be evidence of his progress and development through the era of the Pharaohs, the golden age of mural art and wonderful artistic designs, as Egypt has a great history of Arts, heritage and ancient civilization that are unparalleled in any other civilization in the world. Where ancient Egyptian art is considered the largest example of design works and wall painting, which will remain one of the most expressive artistic means of successive historical eras, which in turn greatly influenced plastic art, which is one of the most important areas to reach works of art that blend the aesthetic and innovative sides.Especially with the difference in the materials, tools, and methods used for implementation, which provided the opportunity to create creative fields for the artist and provide various alternatives through choices and topics that can be dealt with artistically during the artistic design process. Here, we specifically mention how to benefit from the works of ancient Egyptian art in a contemporary plastic style to come up with design proposals stemming from our distinguished civilizational history.But it is in line with the spirit of the modern era and is also expressed in the form of practical applications implemented by the study, where the Egyptian artist and human being excelled in his artistic production, which is characterized by seriousness and superior skill, and the effect maintains its archaeological and creative value. Where the ancient Egyptian civilization left artistic marks immortalized by history and a culture that appeared in that era and hid within it symbols specific to its spiritual and intellectual meanings with an aesthetic philosophical vision in a unique form.The research problem lies: Statement of the problem in the scarcity of dealing with the vocabulary and elements of ancient Egyptian art in design works that enjoy the pictorial aspect in a contemporary artistic style that is consistent with the modern artistic vision and expresses it, which confirms our identity and represents it with a modern approach that elevates societal thought as it expresses it. Objective research aims to express aesthetic and philosophical values and visions through ancient Egyptian art in works and graphic paintings designed in a contemporary artistic style. And make them works that can be seen and displayed instead of being confined to the walls of museums and ancient temples,the importance of the research, Significance, is evident in the following: The multiplicity of the cultural source of the contemporary artist by taking advantage of the abundant philosophical thought of ancient Egyptian art. Shedding light on the most prominent philosophical and aesthetic values in the subjects of ancient Egyptian art and their diversity. In addition to benefiting from the aesthetics of the contemporary artistic style in expressing the vocabulary of Egyptian art and its most important aesthetics, while linking them with the topics, ideas and visions of our current era in a new artistic style. The research methodology also follows the experimental approach through the implementation of applied works that express the design with a visual sense.
