Abstract | ||||
Probiotics are living bacteria that, when given in sufficient quantities, help the host's health. They are currently recognized as appropriate alternatives to antibiotics in the treatment of animal diseases and the enhancement of animal output. It has several different pharmacological properties, including as anti-diabetic, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant actions. The aim of this article was to characterize of L plantarum HBUAS56719 isolated from black raspberry. Lactobacillus plantarum HBUAS56719 was isolated from Black raspberry leaves aqueous extract (BRLAE) and characterized by 16S rDNA sequencing and agarose gel electrophoresis of amplified PCR products. In the genotypic identification of L plantarum HBUAS56719 by gene sequencing of a fragment (760 bp) of 16S rRNA with 1500 bp size after agarose gel electrophoresis of amplified PCR products. The findings imply that 16S rDNA sequencing and agarose gel electrophoresis of amplified PCR were used in characterization of L plantarum HBUAS56719 new strain, which could be promote gut health by improvement of intestinal microbiota. | ||||
