Abstract | ||||
BaTiO3 exhibits several phases. Due to its exceptional ferroelectric and dielectric characteristics, Barium titanate (BaTiO3) has received a lot of interest. In the current study, X-ray diffraction method was used to investigate the phase transition and structural stability of BaTiO3 in temperature range of 30-700 oC. The behaviour of phase transformation and lattice parameters of the BaTiO3 were established by Rietveld refinement. At 100 oC, transformation to cubic phase starts and remains cubic up to 700 oC. Additionally, tetragonal to cubic transformation was accomplished by a decrease of tetragonality at 125 oC. | ||||
