Abstract
Campylobacter spp. causes severe issues in chickens and human being. In this investigation. Campylobacter species were isolated (182) in Dakahlia Governorate's from 440 broilers and 440 ballade breeds. Campylobacter jejuni (16%) and Campylobacter coli (4%). For C. jejuni, the rates of recovery from various internal organs were 60%, 24%, 10%, and 5%, from the cloacal swab, heart, liver, and gizzard. . The morphological studies revealed that the majority of Campylobacter species are motile, grow at 37-42Co, and are G-ve, slender spirally curved. They require 5%O2, 10%CO2, and 85%N2 to create a colony that looks like a dew drop on mCCDA media. By application of biochemical tests and API20 assay ,the suspected isolates were identical to typical Campylobacter spp. and by application PCR assay was carried out for(c.coli and c.jejuni ) to detect 23srRNA as common gene for campylobacter SPP , and hipO gene for C.jejuni and asp gene for C .Coli
