Abstract | ||||
Field experiments were carried out at private field, El-Gharbeia Governorate ,Egypt. This investigation was performed during the two successive growing seasons 2018/19and 201920 / to study the effect of three nitrogen levels and three irrigations on yield and yield components of four common wheat cultivars . The significantly highest means of yield and yield components were obtained from fertilized by 100 unit /fad in both seasons, while the lowest one was obtained from 50 unit nitrogen fertilizer /fad in both seasons. The highest number of spikes/m2, grains/spike straw yield, biological yield ,grains/spike and 1000–grain weight recorded by increasing number of irrigation to four and two irrigations ,while one irrigation recorded the lowest values of these traits. Grain yield either per plot or per faddan were significant only in the second growing season. Treatment by two or four irrigations produced the significantly highest values of grain yield per plot or per faddan. Banei Sweif 6 recorded the highest number of spikes/m2 in both seasons.Gemmeiza-11 recorded the highest number of grains/spike, biological yield ,and straw yield per plot and per faddan. The highest means of 1000-grain weight, and grain yields were detected in Banei Sweif 1 in both seasons . The interactions of irrigations regimes x N fertilizations levels was significant for biological yield/plot , straw yield per plot and per faddan in the second season. | ||||
