Abstract | ||||
The problem of research was to identify the problems and obstacles that affect the flow of foreign trade for the most important agricultural crops of vegetables and fruits in order to overcome those problems and reduce obstacles and identify them and by working to benefit from the economic policy of foreign trade with the analysis of the most important of those exports and trends during the study period has been taking a sample to identify those problems and obstacles. The study showed that the exports of vegetables and fruits represent about 44.5% of the total agricultural exports during the period 2001-2018 and vegetable exports represent about 23.8% and fruit 19.8% ,during that period. And that the most important vegetable crops that have been exported are onions, potatoes and strawberries during that period, and they represent about 46.4%of the total value of vegetable exports, while the most important fruit crops during that period exported are oranges, grapes and mangoes, representing about 14.8% of fruit exports. Among the most important other crops were green beans by 6.1% during that period of vegetable exports, and that the total exports of the seven crops of economic export importance amounted to 34.12%% of the total exports of vegetables and fruits during that period.The study shows the development of the quantities exported for the most important of these crops high quantities exported of all of them and the rise in their export prices significantly, but it is not commensurate with the increase in the contribution to agricultural exports, meaning that the relative importance of the contribution of these crops did not rise the same as what happened from the rise in prices and quantities of them due to the fact that the field study showed that this is due to the consequences and administrative, marketing and technical problems so. Conclusively, the study recommends working to reduce marketing problems and marketing procedures for these goods, as well as administrative and organizational obstacles to overcome them. | ||||
