Abstract | ||||
The main objective of this research was to determine the extension needs for wheat cultivators in El Boustan area , Ei Noubaria region. The relationships between the dependent variable farmers extension Identify needs and some other independent variables namely: Age, educational level, level of aspiration toward children in edu-cation, exposure to mass media, general awareness, opinion leadership, average wheat income and size shred. The study is based on personal in-terview questionnaire and covers three villages at El Boustan area. The sample was randomly selected and represented 15% of the total wheat farmers. Frequency, percentages, averages, and simple correlation coef-ficient are used to analyze data statistically. The main results could be summarized as follows: There were significant relationships between extension needs as a dependent variable and cducation level, level of aspiration toward children in education, exposure to mass media, general awareness opinion leadership, and average of wheat income. There were no significant rela-tionship between extension needs as a dependent variable and four inde-pendent variables namely: age, family size, social participation, and size of herd. | ||||
